I am fortunate enough at my job to be able to wear casual clothes by purchasing “jean days”. The money used for this purchase goes to charity. I think it’s a great way to be able to have a more casual work atmosphere and be able to donate at the same time. For the latter part of last week and prior to thanksgiving, I was able to dress more casually. Below were my outfits to work, which allows you to be casual and yet still be work appropriate
I tried on some animal print denim from Banana Republic. It has a lot of stretch for extra comfortability. it was really good for all day. Banana Republic is one of my favorite brands and have used it for years.
This sweater is all Cashmere from Bloomingdales. I like the graphic detail, which is fun yet work appropriate. It was particularly cold that day, so I paired it with a contrasting turtleneck color.
I worked from home this day, which is amazing! I still try to get dressed and not be in my pajamas all day when I work from home. For work from home, my go to is a sweater and moto joggers. I am also wearing my new Warby Parker glasses. They have really funky styles of frames and they are very economical!
I am wearing raw hem jeans, but the jeans themselves are a classic straight leg and not distressed. I think that the hem may be an added touch of edge, but since the whole jeans are not distressed, it is still work appropriate. The satchel bag is also a wonderful work bag, since it is so classic and can fit a lot of items. I rented the Rebecca Minkoff bag from Rent the Runway.
Below is a lookbook where you can purchase some of the items that are still available.
