Tips on How to Look Put Together While Running Errands

Are you like me when I’m struggling to find something to wear when I’m just running errands? I usually grab the first pair of yoga pants and workout sweater, put on some sneakers, wear your hair in a messy bun, and call it a day. There is nothing wrong with this at all, but I do like to be a little more put together when I run errands. I wanted to give you some ideas on how to be put together when running errands, and hopefully, make it as easy as grabbing your go to yoga pants. 

Today was going to ULTA day. I just needed to run out real quick and get some tinted moisturizer. 

First, brush out your hair and try not to tie it up. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but simply brushed out. I use a mix of boar’s hair bristle. It helps to make it look a little shinier. Or if you had a little more time, you can run a quick flat iron through your hair. 

Second, wear a little makeup. I just wore very neutral makeup. It took me about 8 minutes to apply this makeup. It has a slightly purple tint, but very subtle

Third, accessorize. You’ll be surprised at how a little bling can punch up an outfit. I like to stack bracelets. I added a statement belt as well. 

Fourth, keep it simple. Jeans, a Button Down Shirt, a Classic Sweater Coat, and some Flats are just as easy to grab as yoga pants, a workout top, a sweater, and some sneakers. Keep the colors classic, too. That way you’re not spending a lot of time color coordinating. Just grab something in the neutral family to so that you’re not overthinking.
